The Human Health & Performance Systems Group develops human-centered technologies to overcome operational challenges and enhance human capability in domains of interest to national security. Our research programs focus on innovative and objective solutions in integrated wearable systems, human-machine teaming, enhanced communications, neurocognitive analytics, and medical technologies. Our group is highly interdisciplinary and includes experts in physiology, cognitive science, neuroscience, psychology, biomechanics, computer science, engineering, and physics. Core technical competencies include system-level modeling, gap analysis, advanced sensing and signal processing, machine learning and AI, computational modeling, hardware and software prototyping, model-based systems engineering, and human data collection in laboratory and field environments.
Support software design, implementation, testing, and deployment activities within a rapid prototyping environment. Work across technical areas in a dynamic team-oriented development environment and likely support multiple projects at one time. Lead a team of software developers to design, implement, and test prototype software systems. Develop and integrate sensor data and algorithms based on statistical modeling and machine learning techniques. Mentor junior staff. Document and present work throughout the development lifecycle, creating flowcharts, diagrams, slides, and code documentation. Candidates will work onsite in Lexington, MA for at least 60% of their working time.
Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.

Salary Range (Recent Graduate): $145,200 - $170,000
Salary Range (Experienced): $145,200 - $220,000
