Job summary

Nexgen Savvy Solutions seeks a skilled .NET developer to upgrade and re-platform applications, enhance databases, and implement secure app deployments. The candidate will work on MVC-based projects, optimize performance, and mentor a software development team.

Work location is Charlotte, NC with travel to client sites across the USA. A bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field is required, along with strong experience in .NET, MVC, Entity Framework, and deployment tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience upgrading and re-platforming .NET applications and databases.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade to Microsoft .NET framework and modify existing functionality.
• Configure, troubleshoot .NET application automated builds and deployment with TFS and IIS web apps.
• Develop enhancements using MVC and Entity Framework.
• Identify performance issues in web applications and propose fixes.
• Mentor development team and assist in requirements for development, UAT, and production environments.

Job Duties And Skills

• Upgrades to Microsoft .Net framework, modification to existing functionality, upgrading existing databases to supported databases, re-platforming of applications to new servers and any design changes for that.
• Implement, configure, troubleshoot .Net application Automated Builds and Deployment with TFS,IIS web apps,Security – Authentication and Authorization
• Make software and system design recommendations for existing and proposed applications
• Develop several enhancements utilizing MVC and Entity Framework.
• Identify and correct performance issues in web applications.
• Assistance in development of software/hardware requirements for Development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production environment.

Required Education: Minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a closely related field, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
