Job summary

Aptiv plc is seeking a Software Architect at our Indiana Technical Center in Carmel to drive radar/ADAS software architecture and AUTOSAR integration. This role emphasizes safety, performance, and cross-functional collaboration across automotive domains.

The ideal candidate brings 14+ years in embedded real-time software for automotive systems, strong C/C++ skills, and hands-on AUTOSAR experience in BSW/MCAL and CAN/Ethernet stacks. Relocation within the USA may be offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• 14+ years in Embedded or real-time software development, automotive domain preferred.
• Experience in Embedded Software Architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with AUTOSAR BSW, MCAL, OS bring-up and configuring CAN/Ethernet stacks.
• Experience with Safety standards (ISO 26262) and implementation.
• Strong experience in embedded C/C++ programming.

About This Position

We currently have exciting opportunities for Software Architect. In this role, you will be contributing to the development of Autonomous/ADAS/AD/HAD/Active Safety Projects. This position is located at our Indiana Technical Center in Carmel, IN (relocation offered within the USA).
