Software Application Developer/Analyst - II/RedHat Linux Administrator

Contract

America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in any Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste management space. We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management. Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200 + years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering; for several mid – large wireless carriers internationally - that saw a need to provide low power, cost efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions. We have combined these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to provide clients various options to decrease re-occurring costs associated with operating an IoT network of sensors and connected devices. We specialize in design, deployment, optimization, and support of these Networks. Systems Engineer / Administrator to provide support of complex systems running Redhat Linux and Solaris. 5+ years progressive, technical, job-related experience. Expertise on RedHat Satellite 6 / Puppet, Veritas Clustering on Solaris, RedHat Linux Clustering, Microsoft Windows, Tru64 or VMware would also increase value. Systems Engineer/Administrator must be able to function with limited direction and guidance and be able to diagnose a wide variety of problems. T&M must possess excellent customer relation and communication skills. Must be able to accurately assess problems and if necessary communicate the problem information to peers, support group and HW/OS vendors. T&M must be able to work in a team environment, demonstrate leadership skills, and follow established business processes and procedures.
