Cellanome in Foster City, CA is seeking a Software and Informatics Product Manager (Temporary) to own tactical delivery and drive software releases within the suite. You will lead cross-functional teams to prioritize requirements and deliver customer-ready software.

As part of a growing start-up, you will collaborate with Software & Bioinformatics, R&D, Operations and Commercial, contributing to customer-facing documentation and field support while advancing genomic software initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience: 8+ years with a Bachelor's, or 6 years with a Master's, or PhD with 3 years.
• Technical knowledge of genomic, functional and/or single cell analysis tools.
• Experience launching life science software products.

Cellanome is hiring 6‑month temporarySoftware and Informatics Product Manager who will support day-to-day execution for our software suite, o wning tactical delivery by driving software releases to completion and leading cross-functional groups for requirements prioritization . The candidate will possess a good understanding of current genomic and functional methods and understand the trends in the competitive landscape. As part of the marketing team, this role contributes to customer facing documentation , and supports customers and KOLs to ensure their success and showcase the use of Cellanome products. Collaborates closely with Software & Bioinformatics, R&D, Operations, and Commercial.

Essential Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Launchexecution: Drive the team’s current software releases through to completion by coordinating cross-functional readiness, tracking open items, and unblocking the team where needed ; ownership of relevant documentation including release notes and user guides.
• User needs & prioritization: Gather, document, and prioritize requirements for software releases, working with engineering and R&D to translate customer and field input into a clear backlog; partner across the core team on cross‑functional trade‑off decisions.
• Cross-functional coordination: Work with product management counterparts and software teams to keep the roadmap on track; flag trade-offs and decisions that need broader input.
• Voice of customer: Stay involved with customer and field feedback by joining select customer calls and feedback sessions and route findings to the right owners.
• Field support: Answer field team questions and support commercial activities as needed; help maintain existing training, sales tools and collateral.
• Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with aBachelor’sdegree;or 6 years and aMaster’sdegree;or a PhD with 3years experience; or equivalent experience.
• Technical knowledge of genomic, functional and/or single cell analysis tools required.
• Experience developing and launching successful products in the life science software space.
• Communicates effectively and collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD strongly preferred .
• Multi‑omic and live cell biology experience preferred.
• Experience leading SaaS solutions globally with regulatory compliance and data privacy requirements preferred.
• Experience working across applications, including web lab, preferred.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $12 0 ,000 - $18 0 ,000 /year. Within the range, indivi dual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
