Job summary

Acushnet Company in San Marcos, CA, seeks a Softgoods Product Specialist to drive apparel and specialty product development from concept through production. You will own sample development, tracking and launch readiness, coordinating with global suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality and on‑time delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and hands‑on experience with logo specs, costing and manufacturing processes, plus strong project management skills and proficiency in MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Experience with logo specifications and placement on apparel.
• Knowledge of costing, negotiation, forecasting, manufacturing, materials and construction techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Manager of Product Development from concept to production.
• Own sample development, product tracking, launch readiness and cross‑functional communication.
• Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers to meet quality, cost and timeline targets.
• Manage purchase orders and vendor onboarding processes.
• Support launches through sample management and coordination with marketing and sales.
