Job summary

Silver Creek High School is seeking a part-time Softball Varsity Assistant Coach to support the varsity program with duties including practice planning, athlete instruction, and adherence to IHSAA rules. The role begins January 6, 2027, with deadline to apply September 25, 2026.

The successful candidate will work under the athletics department, communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff, and maintain regular attendance. Prior coaching experience is preferred.

• To relate positively to parents and other community representatives.

Responsibilities

• This position requires an individual to perform duties and responsibilities with minimal to no supervision.
• Must have the ability to communicate and articulate responsibilities and requirements to high school athletes.
• Must be able to instruct students in all aspects of the sport, motivate and instruct members during athletic contests. Practice on a regular basis. Follow all IHSAA rules and procedures.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
