Job summary

Plainfield School District in New Jersey is seeking an Athletics/Activities/Coaching professional to lead and support middle school sports programs at Maxson & Hubbard Middle School (grades 6-8). Requirements include a BA degree (with rare substitute considerations), a valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate, CPR/AED and Sports First Aid, plus prior coaching experience and active participation in the sport.

This position may be bound to the terms of the current PEA contract, with salary details

Qualifications

• Valid County Substitute Certificate may be sufficient
• Previous assistant or head coaching experience is desired
• Participation in the designated sport to learn and master basic skills

Qualifications:

• Education: BA Degree (Note: only in very special and unusual situations, the county Substitute requirements may be sufficient).
• Requirement: (Valid County Substitute Certificate may be sufficient).
• Experience: Previous assistant or head coaching experience is desired. Sufficient participation in the designated sport where basic skills and techniques of the game are learned and some mastered.
• Certification: Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate, CPR/AED and Sports First Aid (Please submit a copy of certifications)
