The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor in the Academic Clinician (AC) track in Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery, located in Philadelphia.

AC faculty spend most of their time on clinical service and teaching, with flexibility to adjust between soft tissue surgery and surgical oncology; promotion opportunities exist and mentorship is provided.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and board certification by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) or equivalent.
• Completed an accredited surgical residency and currently pursuing board-certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical service in soft tissue surgery and surgical oncology.
• Educate veterinary students, interns and residents and participate in teaching activities.
