As a CBRE Facilities Consultant, you will oversee a variety of projects in support of the maintenance and repair program for assigned facilities.

About The Role

As a CBRE Facilities Consultant, you will oversee a variety of projects in support of the maintenance and repair program for assigned facilities.

This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate soft services for all business units, large departments, or work groups. Establish specifications,
  • Solicit bids, negotiate, and participate in contract development.
  • Review and approve vendor contracts and specify terms of agreements.
  • Secure necessary operating supplies such as janitorial and maintenance.
  • Oversee various services such as maintenance, landscaping, snow/ice removal, and paving.
  • Point of contact for emergency situations and issues that occur during and outside of normal business hours.
  • Confirm company and client records are managed according to policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex
  • assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job
  • disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and
  • convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of
  • experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
  • Pharmaceutical experience is highly desired
