Job summary

Battelle Memorial Institute is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our Health Research and Analytics team in support of U.S. Special Operations Command.

The PT will evaluate and rehabilitate musculoskeletal conditions, supervise staff, and advise on injury prevention and program administration. The role requires extensive clinical experience, credentialing, and the ability to work across HP and POTFF teams in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Must hold Master’s degree in physical therapy.
• ABPTS certification (OCS/SCS) or ATC via NATA preferred.
• Minimum five years’ manual therapy experience in sports medicine.
• Current unrestricted PT license in the U.S. (DC, VA, PR, USVI, etc.).
• Strong documentation in electronic health records and program guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitate SOF personnel.
• Supervise PT staff and coordinate care with HP and POTFF teams.
• Develop and maintain clinical guidelines and program administration.
• Participate in equipment reviews, fiscal planning and data reporting.
• Ensure safe operation of care equipment and maintain medical records.
