Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced TS/SCI cleared Data Science & Analytics Technical Lead to drive the strategic integration of advanced analytics across the SOF Enterprise. The role is on-site in Tampa, FL, supporting SOCOM HQ staff, components, and TSOCs.

The candidate will lead distributed data support teams, apply AI/ML methods to complex data, and ensure digital capabilities align with SOF priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience or Master's with 12+ years of experience.
• Five years in SOF analytical support.
• Three years managing distributed data support teams in SOF HQ echelon.
• Three years experience with SOF digital capabilities and with SOF HQ elements, Service Components HQs, and TSOCs.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic integration of advanced analytics and data science solutions within the SOF Enterprise.
• Use scientific methods and advanced algorithms to develop insights from structured and unstructured data.
• Provide critical data support to HQ staff, SOF components, and TSOCs to improve decision-making.
• Serve as the primary technical/resource for implementing digital capabilities across the SOF Enterprise.
• Lead geographically distributed data support teams and synchronize with SOF priorities.
• Collaborate with SOF HQ, Service Components, and TSOCs to analyze digital data and requirements.
• Deliver transformative data science solutions in mission-critical environments.
