UNC Charlotte is accepting applications for adjunct or part-time faculty positions. These positions are temporary and usually involve teaching a particular course or courses for a particular semester.

Responsibilities could include developing and/or updating course syllabi, preparation of lectures, projects, or other student assignments, meeting all designated class periods, maintaining regularly scheduled office hours, grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner, submitting

Formación

• Faculty teaching undergraduate courses: doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline.
• Faculty teaching graduate courses: earned doctorate / terminal degree in the teaching discipline.
• UNC Charlotte considers competence, effectiveness, and capacity, including degrees, related work experiences, licensure and certifications, and teaching excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and/or update course syllabus, preparation of lectures, projects, or other student assignments.
• Meeting all designated class periods, maintaining regularly scheduled office hours, grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
• Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations.

Educación

Doctorate or Master’s degree in teaching discipline

Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in teaching discipline
