Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group in Leonardo, NJ is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support students in a school-based setting. You will provide counseling, collaborate with families and educators, and help students achieve social, emotional, and academic success.

The role offers full-time or part-time opportunities, relocation assistance, and ongoing professional development to support career growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Social Work program
• Current Social Worker license in New Jersey
• NJ DOE credential
• NJ CHR credential
• School-based experience
• Case management experience

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, support, and intervention services to students
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support students' social-emotional well-being and academic success
• Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and community resource coordination
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP and student support meetings as needed

Education
