Job summary

KG Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Peer Support Community Group Facilitator for a nonprofit serving survivors of domestic violence. The role supports a weekly group session in Newberry, SC.

You will facilitate the session on Tuesday evenings, 6:00–7:30 pm, with a salary of $77.25 per session. Responsibilities include maintaining attendance records, reporting statistics, and completing required training to stay active as a Victim Service Provider.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work and/or counseling (LPC).
• Preferred SC SW/LPC licensure and membership in NSAW/ACA.
• Experience in trauma-informed group work and with IPV survivors.
• Knowledge of IPV issues and related theory and dynamics.
• Ability to relate in a non-judgmental, supportive manner to individuals and groups.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license and adequate personal vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a weekly group session (1.5 hours) on Tuesday evenings.
• Maintain records of group attendance, forms, and monthly statistics.
• Input direct service and collateral time into the client database in a timely manner.
• Attend required Victim Service Provider (VSP) trainings annually.
• Participate in required clinical group meetings and perform other duties as needed.

In this position you will facilitate a group session on a weekly basis, Tuesday night from 6pm -7:30 pm, in Newberry, SC. Salary is $77.25 per session.

Responsibilities:

• Receive community peer support group referrals, assess for IPV services.
• Facilitate a group session on a weekly basis for a period of 1 ½ hours.
• Maintain records of group attendance, group forms, and monthly family violence statistics.
• Input direct service and collateral time into client database management system in a timely manner.
• Attend twelve (6) hours of Victim Service Provider (VSP) training each year to remain in compliance and active status as a VSP.
• Attendance at required clinical group meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in social work and/or counseling (LPC).
• Preferred maintenance of SC SW/LPC licensure status & credentials and active membership in NSAW/ACA.
• Experience in trauma-informed group work and group dynamics.
• Direct service experience working with survivors experiencing IPV.
• Knowledge and understanding of the issue of IPV.
• Training in individual, family and group theory and dynamics.
• Ability to relate in a non-judgmental, supportive manner to individuals and groups with multiple problems.
• Possession of a valid South Carolina driver’s license and adequate personal vehicle insurance.
