Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH, is seeking a qualified social worker to provide developmentally appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients and families in our urgent care setting.
Candidates must hold MSW, be licensed as LSW (LISW preferred), and have about 2 years of clinical social work experience; the role includes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, education for staff, and ongoing quality improvement.
The schedule for this position is Sunday 12pm-8:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 2pm-10:30pm each day. Located at E Broad Urgent Care (6435 E Broad St) covering the other off‑site Urgent Cares by phone / telehealth.
Provides developmentally appropriate, outcome-focused diagnostic and therapeutic service to patients and families in accordance with the scope of practice as defined in Chapter 4757 of the Ohio Revised Code, Section 4757.01 et seq. Practices professional social work and promotes advocacy in accordance with the NASW Code of Ethics for Social Work and maintains a current Ohio Social Work license.
