Job summary

Clarion Psychiatric Center is seeking a Social Worker to provide clinical social work services, including psychosocial assessments, individual/group/family therapy, and active treatment-team participation. The role leads master treatment plan development and ensures discharge and ongoing care planning with external agencies.

Requires a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) with LCSW/LSW preferred. At least one year in inpatient hospital settings is preferred, reflecting a strong commitment to

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Social Work or related field required.
• LCSW or LSW preferred.
• At least one year of inpatient hospitalization work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services in accordance with NASW and center policies.
• Perform psychosocial assessments of patients’ mental health.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy.
• Participate on the treatment team and lead the master treatment plan development.
• Develop realistic and measurable short- and long-term goals.
• Coordinate with other agencies for discharge and continuing care plans.

Clarion Psychiatric Center is currently recruiting for a Social Worker. The Social Worker provides clinical social work services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Clarion Psychiatric Center and the NASW. The Social Worker is responsible for psychosocial assessments of the patient’s mental health; individual, group, and family therapy; active participation on the treatment team; lead role in the development of the master treatment plan; developing realistic and measurable short and long term goals; and assumes responsibility for coordinating with other agencies involved with the patient the discharge and continuing care plans.
