Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates seeks an Adult Outpatient Therapist – Behavioral Health to provide outpatient mental health and co-occurring substance use services for adults and families. The role includes assessments, individual and group therapy, and coordinated care.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, Michigan licensure, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. QMHP credential must be obtained within 120 days.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling is required.
• Michigan licensure is required.
• At least 1 year of experience with mental illness; fieldwork/internship counts.
• QMHP credential must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
• Must communicate clearly, stay organized, pay attention to detail, and建立 strong interpersonal skills.
• Must demonstrate cultural competency and ability to build therapeutic relationships with diverse populations.
• Not eligible to work in the U.S. without authorization or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake evaluations and provide direct clinical treatment.
• Assess and document client needs using Person-Centered Planning principles.
• Provide individual and group therapy.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, families, and other service providers.
• Maintain clinical records and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.
• Coordinate discharge planning and meet funding/program requirements.
• Complete 24 hours of annual training related to adult mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
• Maintain required state licensure and meet funding and program requirements.

Adult Outpatient Therapist – Behavioral Health

Provide outpatient mental health and co-occurring substance abuse services to adults and families through clinical assessments, individual and group therapy, and coordinated care.

Compensation

• Full License: $29.47–$39.67/hour
• Limited License: $27.22–$36.63/hour
• Salary depends on licensing and experience. Compensation is grant-based and non-negotiable.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM–7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling available; some evening and weekend hours may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential within 120 days of hire.
• Must be able to work independently and demonstrate strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
• Must demonstrate cultural competency and the ability to build therapeutic relationships with diverse populations.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; candidates requiring sponsorship or on student/work visas are not eligible.
