• Assist students in overcoming barriers to learning by addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, family challenges, and crisis situations.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate social‑emotional and behavioral supports into the educational environment.
• Participate in IEP meetings and student support team discussions, providing input on mental health and interventions.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines, incorporating supervisor feedback to ensure high-quality services.
• Maintain accurate case notes, treatment records, and compliance documentation per district/state requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school social work and student support services.
