Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical psychosocial assessments and interventions, including crisis response, individual, couples, and family counseling.
• Provide short-term bereavement support as part of the care plan.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to reduce cancer-related distress and improve quality of life.
• Apply biopsychosocial assessment techniques and provide family therapy, individual counseling, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Understand Advance Directives in hospice care and identify safety risks for vulnerable patients.
• Be familiar with cultural issues and resources for child and adult protective services as relevant to the patient population.
• Deliver services to patients with all cancer types within a hybrid work model (3 days on-site, 2 remote).
