Beloit Health System, Inc. is seeking a Wisconsin-licensed School-Based Therapist to join our Counseling Care Team in Beloit. The role involves individual, group, and family therapy for youth and adolescents within the school setting, collaborating with school personnel.

Responsibilities include DSM-V diagnoses, psychosocial evaluations, treatment planning, crisis management, and participation in an on-call rotation. Master’s degree required; strong communication and teamwork essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive mental health treatment for patients and families.
• Utilize DSM-V standards for diagnosing.
• Complete psychosocial evaluations and treatment plans.
• Provide varied psychotherapy to youth in school setting (individual, group, family).
• Build referral relationships within hospital and community.
• Manage crisis patient needs within multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in on-call rotation (1-2 weeks per year).

Beloit Health System is looking to add a Social Worker /Mental Health Therapist to our Counseling Care Team!

• Shift: First

• Schedule:8a - 6p (8-hour shifts within this timeframe)

• Hours per week: 40

The Counseling Care Center is seeking a Wisconsin-licensed, School-Based Therapist to work with youth and adolescents. The role involves individual, group and family therapy within the school Setting and collaborating with school personnel.

• Performs comprehensive mental health treatment to patients and families
• Utilizes DSM-V standards for diagnosing
• Completes psychosocial evaluations on all identified clients
• Completes treatment plans and treatment plan reviews, focusing on the improvement of mental health symptoms and emotional/personal functioning
• Provides competent and comprehensive treatment approaches to mental health diagnosis and emotional struggles
• Implements preventative strategies to mental and emotion disorders
• Takes a lead role in managing client's mental healthcare needs through case management and advocacy
• Provide treatment to diverse populations and ages, including individuals, families and groups
• Builds referral relationships within the Hospital setting and the treatment community, for referral and care networks
• Effectively manages crisis patient needs, facilitating care within the multidisciplinary team, in an empathetic and knowledgeable manner
• Participates in an on-call rotation (1-2 weeks per year)

Job Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling and Guidance or related degree from an accredited university
• Ideally Licensed as LPC, LCSW or LMFT in Wisconsin (Minimal License is LPC-IT or MSW-IT)
• Ideal candidate will have 3000 hours post-graduate experience
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal instruction and effectively within a team setting
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) is a plus.
