Job summary

ICL in New York is seeking a licensed clinical social worker to provide clinical services for children, adolescents, families and adults. The role includes maintaining records in compliance with NYC, state, and federal guidelines and working with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.

The successful candidate will demonstrate trauma-informed, client-centered care, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure mental health environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed by New York State as LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT or eligible for limited permit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Cultural competency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical services including individual, family, and crisis intervention as clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and consult with supervisor as clinically indicated.
• Maintains clinical records in compliance with all cities, state, and federal regulations.
• Complies with managed care requirements including consulting with care coordinators, obtaining treatment authorization, and providing necessary documentation.
• Attends weekly individual supervision with clinical supervisor.

Provides appropriate and clinically indicated services to children, adolescents, families and adults. Maintains clinical records within all federal, state, and city regulations documenting all services provided.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provides direct clinical services including individual, family, and crisis intervention as clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and consult with supervisor as clinically indicated.
• Maintains clinical records in compliance with all cities, state, and federal regulations as per the city Department of Mental Health, Mental Disabilities and Substance Use Services, the State Office of Mental Health, and the State of New York Department of Health.
• Complies with managed care requirements including consulting with care coordinators, obtaining treatment authorization, and providing necessary documentation
• Participates in all mandatory agency training/in-service programs.
• Attends weekly individual supervision with clinical supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
