Job summary

Goodhue County Health & Human Services in Red Wing, MN, seeks a Licensing Social Worker/Case Manager to process licensure applications, recruit and orient providers, and assess homes for safety and compliance.

The role requires a BA in social work or related field with 2 years' public human services experience; a MSW may substitute for one year. The position is full-time with a starting annual compensation range and benefits in county service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social work or related human services field and two (2) years of full-time work experience preferred as a Social Worker/Case Manager in a public human services agency and/or a private community services agency that contracts services with a public human services agency.
• Master's Degree in social work or related field may substitute for up to one (1) year of required Social Worker experience.
• Required Social Work experience must have occurred after receipt of Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Collect information to process applications for licensure.
• Recruit and provide orientation, support and oversight of applicants and licensed providers.
• Provide detailed assessments and re-assessments of homes to ensure safety and compliance with licensing rules and Minnesota statutes.
• Submit licensing recommendations to the state.
• Provide ongoing support for licensed providers.
• Completes thorough and timely documentation that meets agency standards, state regulations, and complies with all data practices requirements.
• Collaborate with community, regional, and state organizations as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure services to support families who utilize licensed programs
• Conduct investigations of licensing complaints, submit licensing recommendations, and monitor compliance of license holders

Goodhue County Health & Human Services is seeking qualified applicants for a Licensing Case Manager. Specific duties for this position may vary depending on the needs of the unit, so we are seeking candidates who are willing to be flexible and learn a variety of programs. Additional duties within Social Services and Licensing Teams may also be assigned as needed. This position may include some of the following duties:

Minimum Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

County employees receive competitive pay and a generous benefit offering. The Social Worker position is compensated at salary grade 112 and starting annual compensation is $73,860.80 -$114,524.80.
