DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position provides professional social work services to adults with mental health needs and supports them through key stages of treatment and recovery. The role focuses on tailored services that respect individual needs. As a Social Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Service Coordination: Support consumers by connecting them with resources that match their age, needs, and cultural background
• Regulation Guidance: Interpret and apply federal, state, and agency requirements to ensure proper service delivery
• Assessment Work: Complete interviews and gather information to develop psychosocial assessments
• Treatment Team Support: Share updates, prepare documents, and take part in team meetings to guide treatment planning
• Discharge Planning: Develop plans and coordinate with families and community partners to support transitions back into the community

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in social work or social welfare.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
