Job summary

New Hope Manor, Inc. is seeking a full-time NYS-licensed Social Worker (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, or LFT) to join a dedicated team. The role focuses on intensive, integrated substance use and mental health services within a clinical and residential setting.

The position offers a competitive salary and generous benefits, with a Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm shift. Responsibilities include treatment planning, crisis intervention, and maintaining comprehensive case documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed NYS social worker required (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, or LFT).
• Masters degree in social work or related field.
• Experience in SUD and mental health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with interdisciplinary team treatment planning.
• Provides therapeutic crisis intervention as required.
• Conducts assessments through interviews, history, tests, and observation to determine therapeutic approaches.
• Provides and arranges for appropriate interventions for clients in crisis or with serious disturbances.
• Maintains case files and progress notes.

New Hope Manor is looking to add a full time NYS-licensed Social Worker (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, or LFT) to our growing team of dedicated professionals!

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and generous benefit package. Salary is dependent upon license and experience relevant to SUD field.

Shift: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

Position Requirements

• provision of intensive, integrated professional substance abuse and mental health services and treatment planning in a clinical and residential environment;
• provision of professional leadership in the determination of appropriate therapeutic approaches and methods;
• supervising clinical activities of therapists, students, and/or interns within area of specialty;
• establishment and maintenance of case files and related documents for clinical and legal purposes.

Duties & Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Assists with interdisciplinary team with treatment planning.
• Provides therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as required.
• Collects data about patients through interview, case history, psychological tests, and/or observational techniques; evaluates data to identify causes of problems and to determine proper therapeutic approach.
• Provides and/or arranges for therapeutic interventions as appropriate for patients or clients in a crisis condition and for those with serious disturbance problems.
• Follows up to determine reliability of treatment used; changes method and degree of therapy when indicated.
• Establishes and maintains case files and progress notes
• Group psychotherapy up to 5 sessions per week.
• Maintain a caseload, providing individual psychotherapy 50 minutes in duration for each client
• Maintain individual progress notes
