Qualifications

• NYS LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC required.
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• 1+ year of social work experience required.
• Experience working with children age group 3 to 5 years required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; maintain confidentiality and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and maintain case notes, social histories, and related documentation.
• Provide emotional, behavioral, and therapeutic support to students.
• Assist families with accessing resources including housing, Medicaid, SNAP, respite, and other community services.
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams on IEPs, annual reviews, and student transitions.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate case records.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and other school activities as needed.
