EVANS Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, CO is seeking a Social Worker (Clinical) to join the Social Work Services Department on a TERM basis. This position is located on an active duty military installation and may be subject to return rights and time-limited service up to eight years in some circumstances.

About the Position:

This position is located at EVANS Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, CO in the Social Work Services Department.

This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

This is an obligated Position in which an employee has return rights. Upon the employee's return, incumbent may be required to vacate this position.

This position is a TERM position NTE 2 years. It is time-limited and may be extended up to maximum of eight years.

Basic Requirement for Social Worker (Clinical):

Degree: Master's degree (or higher degree) in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

AND License: A current, active, valid, and unrestricted independent social work clinical licensure from a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required. (Note: You must attach a copy of your license.)

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: conducting psychiatric evaluations on patients, providing individual or group counseling to patients, and developing treatment plans for patients. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11)
