Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field is required.
• 1 year of social work experience required after full-performance appointment.
• Master’s degree in social work can substitute for 1 year of specialized experience.
• State Service transfer eligibility with 1 year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service is possible.

Responsibilities

• Interview individuals and families to gather background information.
• Prepare case histories and determine eligibility for services.
