Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a valid NC teacher license (A or M) with Social Studies certification for middle or high school.
• Candidate must have a four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
• Alternative licensing pathway offered by NCDPI is acceptable for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Create a safe learning environment using behavioral management techniques.
• Develop lessons aligned with Common Core State Standards and NC Essential Skills to raise achievement.

Education
