Job summary

State of Georgia’s Department of Human Services seeks a Social Services Program Consultant 3 (Revenue Maximization) to monitor, guide, and support regional staff in achieving performance outcomes. You will review reports, provide technical assistance, and ensure adherence to laws and procedures, with telework options depending on position.

Required to have a bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience (one in a lead role); a master’s degree and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 years of professional experience including 1 year in a lead role.
• Alternative: 2 years at Social Svcs Prgm Consultant 2 or equivalent position.
• Preferred: Master’s degree with 24 months eligibility determinations and supervisory experience.
• Experience in Child Welfare, Foster Care, or related programs is valued.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, guides, and provides technical assistance to regional Revenue Maximization staff.
• Reviews reports and determines performance and technical assistance needs.
• Provides support for corrective actions as requested by regions or by Revenue Maximization Director.
• Communicates expected outcomes and accountability.
• Maintains knowledge of Federal and State laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Performs regional team evaluations monthly for performance outcomes.
