Job summary

State of Arkansas’ Department of Human Services is seeking a Social Services Assistant to provide supportive services to families, assist with intake, transportation, and coordination with social workers to ensure safe, stable, and healthy outcomes. The role requires frequent in-state travel and availability during mornings, evenings and weekends to meet family needs.

A background check and maltreatment registry check are required; six months of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of work experience in human services programs or public service.
• Background check and child/adult maltreatment registry check.
