Valley Behavioral Health Incorporated's Carmen B. Pingree Autism Center of Learning in Salt Lake City is seeking a Social Service Worker to provide therapeutic behavior management, case management, and licensure-driven services to children with autism and their families in a structured, compassionate setting.

• Internship experience as required for SSW license.
• SSW licensure in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic behavior management as prescribed by care plan.
• Assists therapist as needed to develop and review safety/crisis plans and care plans.
• Coordinates services among internal/external agencies and internal/external providers.
• Follows care plan to monitor progress, teach skills, address behavioral concerns, and bill accordingly.
• Ensures continuity of care.
• Meets required productivity standards and other organizational expectations.

At the Carmen B. Pingree Autism Center of Learning, Social Service Workers support children with autism and their families through compassionate, relationship-centered care focused on safety, growth, and long-term success. This role combines therapeutic support, skill-building, behavior management, and collaboration to help children build coping, communication, social, and daily living skills in a structured and supportive environment. Social Service Workers work closely with interdisciplinary teams and families to ensure consistent care and meaningful progress for every child.

Pay:

Range starts at $23.00/hour (pay is calculated based on years of licensed working experience)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm
