Job summary

The Salvation Army thrift store in Frankfort, IN is seeking a reliable cashier to serve customers and direct clients to social services, supporting the mission in daily operations. You will perform cashier duties, handle transactions, assist with deposits with a second staff member, answer phones, stock clothing, and maintain overall store upkeep.

Salary Range Starting at: $12.19/ per hour

Job Overview:

As the case worker/cashier you will cashier and direct clients to social services for their needs... ensuring that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Certifications:

Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 90 days of employment.

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with co-workers and the public.


• Computer proficiency with Microsoft products and ability to learn electronic reporting systems.


• Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibility
