Wettermark Keith, a growing national personal injury firm, seeks an experienced attorney for its Social Security Disability practice in Birmingham, Alabama. This full-time, in-person role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

You will manage cases from intake through resolution, draft pleadings, research, and communicate with clients while handling a high-volume caseload with independence and professionalism.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active U.S. State Bar (any state) in good standing.
• 3+ years’ experience in Social Security law preferred, but not required and may be substituted for 3+ years attorney experience and a willingness to learn Social Security law.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle Social Security Disability cases, including hearings and appeals.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Communicate with clients and provide updates.
• Manage a high-volume caseload independently.
