The ideal candidate has 3+ years in social media, strong writing skills, and a knack for turning articles, events, and stories into engaging posts that raise awareness and drive engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of social media management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Strong copywriting for social media
• Proficient with major platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, X
• Experience creating social media calendars
• Ability to turn long-form content into short posts
• Detail-oriented with deadline discipline
• Independent remote contractor

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing on the marketing plan.
• Own execution for core brand social channels: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads.
• Develop engaging social media copy reflecting Let Grow's voice and audience.
• Support monthly social media content calendar creation and maintenance.
• Repurpose Let Grow articles, newsletters, webinars, campaigns into social content.
• Create social copies, hashtags, reels ideas, carousel concepts.
• Translate Let Grow's work into clear social content for parents and educators.
• Monitor comments and engagement opportunities to grow the brand.
• Stay updated on social media trends and platform updates.
• Identify opportunities to increase visibility among educators, schools, parents, community leaders.
• Track performance and share insights with the Director.
• Support promotional efforts for programs, webinars, campaigns.
• Ensure content is accurate, on-brand, aligned with mission.
• Other duties as assigned.
