Job summary

Seven Mountains Media in State College is seeking a Social Media Manager who can translate radio moments into engaging online content. You’ll create short-form videos, photos, graphics, Reels, and Stories for our stations and work with on-air talent to turn moments into shareable content.

You’ll promote programming, events, and local features while staying plugged into the State College community. If you are creative, energetic, camera‑ready, and obsessed with trends, this role will let you

Responsibilities

• Create and manage engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms for our radio stations
• Create short-form videos, photos, graphics, Reels, Stories, memes, and other digital content
• Work with on-air talent to turn radio moments, personalities, and conversations into content people want to share
• Promote station programming, contests, events, community involvement, and special features
• Create content that feels authentic to the State College + Central PA community
• Help grow engagement, followers, reach, and our overall digital presence
• Keep your finger on the pulse of social trends, sounds, memes, and platform changes
• Find creative ways to make our stations stand out in an increasingly crowded feed
• Support promotional campaigns and local advertisers with creative social content
• Track performance and use analytics to figure out what’s working—and do more of it

WHAT YOU’LL DO
