Project Eleven is a pioneering security startup shaping post-quantum cryptography, blockchain, and cybersecurity. We seek an Internet-native Social Media Lead who owns the voice, writes incisive posts, creates short-form video, and uses AI to move fast with high quality.
You’ll own content from research to publication, develop repeatable formats, and help founders build their personal presence. This role demands fast thinking and exceptional taste with zero tolerance for generic AI output.
Project Eleven is building security infrastructure for the post-quantum era.
We are a fast-moving team working at the intersection of cryptography, blockchain, quantum, and cybersecurity. We publish original research, build products and open-source tools, and work with some of the biggest companies in digital assets.
We are looking for a Social Media Lead to make Project Eleven one of the most interesting, recognizable, and credible brands in the world.
This is not a job for someone who wants to schedule corporate LinkedIn posts.
We want someone who is an internet native, has excellent taste, moves quickly, and wants real ownership over how we communicate. You are a creator as much as a strategist: you can write, shoot, edit, design, and publish without waiting on a team around you. You use AI constantly to move faster and make better work, but have the taste and judgment to recognize when the output feels generic, artificial, or unfinished. You want to go deep on quantum, cryptography, and frontier tech. What you'll own
You understand Crypto Twitter intimately. You notice new formats early. You know why certain posts work and others fall flat. You understand the cultures and sensitivities inside Bitcoin and the broader crypto ecosystem.
You can take a complicated technical idea and make it interesting without making it stupid.
There is no perfect background for this role.
You might run social at a startup, work in crypto or media, or have built an audience of your own.
What matters is evidence that you are exceptionally good at this.
You probably have:
Typos and grammatical errors drive you insane.
You are a perfectionist about details, but you are equally comfortable working in a fast-paced startup where you know when something is good enough to ship.
You care about hooks, screenshots, formatting, thumbnails, timing, cropping, punctuation, and whether a post actually looks good once it is live.
You experiment aggressively with AI, but you have zero tolerance for generic AI writing, sloppy generated visuals, or content that feels automated. AI should make your work faster and more ambitious, not lower the quality bar.
You notice a post taking off before everyone else does.
You understand the difference between sounding smart and sounding boring.
You are comfortable being given a goal instead of a checklist.
You see a podcast, research paper, product launch, or news story and immediately think of five pieces of content you could make from it.
You want ownership, not just responsibility.
We care much more about what you have made and your track record of excellence than how long you have been doing it.
If you have built an audience, grown an account from nothing, repeatedly created breakout content, or otherwise demonstrated that you are unusually good at social media, we want to hear from you.
