Job summary

FifthColor is offering a Social Media Internship in the United States. You’ll gain hands-on experience creating content, managing client accounts and executing digital campaigns while working closely with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms.
• Experience using Canva required.
• Basic experience with CapCut or similar video editor preferred.
• Familiarity with WordPress is a plus.
• Organized, dependable and detail-oriented.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Create content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Design graphics and social assets using Canva.
• Capture and edit short-form videos with CapCut or similar tools.
• Schedule and publish content via social media platforms.
• Monitor channels and identify engagement opportunities.
• Assist with blogging and website content.
• Compile social media analytics and monthly reports.
• Attend client and agency events to capture photo/video content.
• Collaborate with the account team on campaigns and PR activities.

Program Overview

FifthColor's Social Media Internship Program gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience creating content, managing client accounts and executing digital campaigns while contributing to meaningful work that supports FifthColor's growth. As a full-service, independent, omnichannel agency with all our experts under one roof. As a Social Media Intern, you will contribute to initiatives that help create, manage and grow the social media presence

FifthColor builds for its clients. Working alongside experienced marketers, content creators and strategists, you will gain exposure to how content strategy and creativity come together to build brands that get remembered. Through meaningful project work, mentorship and hands-on collaboration, you will develop practical skills while helping shape FithColor's digital future.

• Attend occasional client and agency events to capture photo and video content.


• Collaborate with the account team on marketing, PR and digital campaign execution.

Minimum Qualifications

• Junior or Senior working toward a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.


• Strong writing and communication skills.


• Familiarity with major social media platforms.


• Experience using Canva required.


• Basic experience with CapCut or another video editing program preferred.


• Familiarity with WordPress is a plus.


• Organized, dependable and detail-oriented.


• Creative, eager to learn and able to manage multiple projects at once.


• Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.


• Interest in brand strategy, creative content and digital marketing is a bonus.
