Job summary

Blue Ridge TV-13 is offering an exciting internship to support news, sports, and live programming with social media. You will create posts, videos, and graphics to drive viewership across platforms.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, current enrollment in digital marketing or communications programs, and residency in Pennsylvania. You will work about 25 hours weekly, primarily on-site in PA, with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current student pursuing a degree in Digital Marketing or Social Media Management and/or Communications.
• Residency in Pennsylvania with valid PA driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong background in media communications, copywriting and visual design.
• Familiar with YouTube, Twitter/X and Meta platforms and scheduling tools.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere and Photoshop).
• Ability to work independently and present work to Social Media Manager for review.
• Deadline to apply by August 20, 2026.

BRCTV-13 has an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated individual to help promote news, sports, and live programming with social media. The role is responsible for creating compelling posts, videos, and graphics to drive eyes to Blue Ridge productions.

Responsibilities Include

• Updating promotional templates for news and sports productions
• Posting daily on Twitter / X, Facebook and Instagram pages
• Publishing approved news and sports stories on YouTube
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current student pursuing a degree in Digital Marketing or Social Media Management and/or Communications
• Established residency in Pennsylvania
• Valid PA Driver's License and good driving record
• Strong background in media communications, copywriting and visual design
• Understanding of social media platforms (YouTube, Twitter/X and Meta) and scheduling tools
• Proficency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere and Photoshop)
• Flexibility to work between PC and Mac work stations
• Possess creativity and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently on projects and present them to Social Media Manager for review
