Job summary

Summit Health is seeking a Social Media Intern to join our Marketing team. You will create and schedule engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, helping to boost patient engagement and attract new patients to Summit Health practices.

The role requires a creative, detail-oriented student familiar with Canva and social media trends, with a minimum of 12-14 hours per week and one day dedicated to video content creation using a smartphone.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communication, Advertising or a related field.
• Familiar with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud) and scheduling tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Content creation & scheduling across Summit Health social channels using a content calendar.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments/DMs, and boost brand presence.
• Help brainstorm campaign ideas and analyze engagement metrics to report on performance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and social media best practices.
