Job summary

People Inc. is seeking a Social Media Editor for InStyle to execute strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads and emerging platforms, with a focus on short-form video. The role collaborates with the Social Media Director and cross-functional teams to produce high-volume, on-camera content.

The position is hybrid in-office with up to 2 remote days per week, and requires attending events during tentpole moments. Strong analytics and copywriting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in journalism, communications or related field.
• 3-5 years of digital and/or social media/video experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Photoshop; familiar with TikTok/IG; analytics and scheduling tools; photography.

Responsibilities

• Content creation across social platforms, including pitching, writing, shooting, scheduling and posting; producing assets and content.
• Strategic research and data analysis to stay up to date on platform trends and performance and share actionable insights.
• Admin duties and calendar support for the social team.
