Job summary

The American Society of Interior Designers is seeking a Social Media Graphic Designer to lead the creative strategy and content across our main platforms. You will design standout graphics for posts, promos, stories, banners, YouTube thumbnails, and other digital content, ensuring visuals stay on brand.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of social media design experience with a strong portfolio, and is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and After Effects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a graphic designer, preferably in social media.
• Strong portfolio of social media design work (required).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and After Effects.
• Deep knowledge of platform design requirements and current trends.
• Ability to promote and scale on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Clear communication with teammates and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Design standout graphics for posts, promos, stories, banners, YouTube thumbnails, and other digital content.
• Keep every visual on brand and consistent across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more.
• Deliver quickly with minimal revisions to keep our content calendar moving as we aim to have at least two weeks of content planned out.
• Help shape content strategy and bring fresh campaign ideas.
• Lead critical campaigns alongside external agency partners
• Produce motion graphics and animations as needed.
• Use social data to build reports and adjust strategy.
