Job summary

Relatable is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to be the operational backbone of our social media program. You’ll work with the Senior Social Media Manager to keep content moving, engage the community, and ensure team operations run smoothly.

This role blends content creation, production, and operations, requiring trend awareness, sharp copy, on‑camera comfort, and strong organizational skills. You’ll manage posting, respond to comments, and help with analytics and reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or community management.
• Strong knowledge of current social media platforms and trends (especially TikTok)
• Excellent writing and copywriting skills
• Comfortable being on camera and creating video content
• Proficiency with social media management tools and platforms
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong quality control instincts

Responsibilities

• Post content across all Relatable social channels on schedule and ensure optimization for each platform
• Monitor comments, DMs, and community activity across all platforms, responding to inquiries and engaging meaningfully in inbound and outbound content
• Partner with paid and organic team to source content for usage opportunities, securing usage rights as needed
• Contribute to social brainstorms, staying on top of platform trends and identifying unique concepts to execute
• Write social media copy, captions, and messaging across platforms; adapt scripts for different platforms and audiences
• Assist with content creation as needed, both behind the camera and in front of it
• Assist Senior Social Media Manager with reporting, analytics, and performance tracking
• Handle admin tasks including scheduling, billing, account management, product shipping/fulfillment, and influencer outreach logistics
• Support the Senior Social Media Manager and broader team with various tasks and special projects as priorities shift

Job description

The Social Media Coordinator is the operational backbone of our social media program. You'll work directly with the Senior Social Media Manager to keep our content moving, community thriving, and team operations running smoothly. This role is part content creator, part producer, and part operations specialist, requiring expertise across platform posting, community engagement, video content creation, and team operations.

You'll need to be responsive to social trends and platform changes, maintain high attention to detail in all deliverables, and be comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment where priorities evolve based on business needs.

Responsibilities

The Legal bits

The salary range for this role is $29.00 - $33.00 hourly, plus eligible for an annual target bonus prorated from the start date. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
