Job summary

Jeppesen ForeFlight seeks an organized marketer in Austin, TX to shape how our brand shows up across social platforms. This hybrid role focuses on content creation, community growth, and data-driven optimization from our Austin office.

You’ll develop campaigns, manage calendars, produce reels and short videos, and collaborate with Design to create assets. 1–3 years of marketing and strong writing are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of marketing experience.
• Strong hands-on social media experience.
• Proficiency with short-form video production and editing (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar).
• Working familiarity with AI content and productivity tools.
• Understanding of social SEO principles and content discovery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media campaigns across platforms.
• Build and maintain the social content calendar.
• Create, shoot, and edit platform-first content, including reels, stories, and short-form video.
• Partner with Design to produce engaging social assets.
• Write clear, engaging social copy optimized for engagement and discoverability.
• Monitor comments, messages, media mentions, and brand conversations, responding as appropriate.
• Grow and engage our social community across platforms.
• Partner with Support to identify customer questions for social content.
• Track social performance and report weekly using Sprout Social and GA4.
• Use performance insights to optimize content and campaign strategy.
• Monitor competitors, trends, and new formats.
• Support paid social campaigns and boosting for promotions and events.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve content creation and workflow efficiency.
• Build relationships with influencers and partners to identify collabs.

About the Role

Jeppesen ForeFlight is looking for an organized, creative marketer in Austin, TX to help shape how our brand shows up across social platforms. The ideal candidate understands how to engage audiences, translate insights into action, and align content with broader brand goals. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, resourceful, and genuinely passionate about social media and marketing. This role is hybrid out of our Austin, TX office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media campaigns across platforms.
• Build and maintain the social content calendar.
• Create, shoot, and edit platform-first content, including reels, stories, and short-form video.
• Partner with Design to produce engaging social assets using tools such as Canva.
• Write clear, compelling social copy optimized for engagement and discoverability.
• Monitor comments, messages, media mentions, and brand conversations, responding as appropriate.
• Grow and engage our social community across platforms.
• Partner with Support to identify customer questions and topics that can be turned into social content.
• Track social performance and report weekly using tools such as Sprout Social and GA4.
• Use performance insights to optimize content and campaign strategy.
• Monitor competitors, industry trends, and emerging social platforms and formats.
• Support paid social campaigns and boosting for promotions, events, and engagement posts.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and workflow efficiency.
• Build relationships with influencers and community partners to identify collaboration opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

• 1–3 years of marketing experience.
• Strong hands-on social media experience required.
• Proficiency with short-form video production and editing using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar platforms.
• Working familiarity with AI content and productivity tools, including generative image/video tools and AI-assisted scheduling or monitoring platforms.
• Understanding of social SEO principles and how content discovery works across platforms.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without missing deadlines.
• Creative, resourceful problem-solver.
• Some travel may be required.
• Pilot or aviation experience is not required, but preferred.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well market and business considerations: Summary Pay Range: $65,000-$80,000
