Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Social Media Content Editor to join a high-volume post-production team in Las Vegas. You will turn raw footage into platform-native social assets for our brands, ensuring speed, consistency, and brand alignment.

The role requires strong editing skills, a robust portfolio, and proficiency in industry tools. Varying schedules include evenings and weekends to support live events and campaigns.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in video editing or post-production for social, digital, or brand content.
• Strong portfolio of short-form social editing demonstrating pacing and platform-native craft.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci, Photoshop, Illustrator, and motion graphics tools.
• Experience in multi-brand or portfolio-based teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into finished, platform-native social assets across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Meta.
• Support the full producer roster on asset development with briefs and shot lists.
• Version and resize content for 4:5, 9:16, 1:1 and other formats with correct specs.
• Apply finishing craft including sound design, color, captions and titling.
• Build and animate motion graphics, lower thirds, and templates for speed.
• Own the shared asset library, ingested metadata, proxy workflows, and archiving.
• Edit creator content and ensure usage rights and disclosures are documented.
• Manage revision rounds with producers, managers, brand, and legal partners.
• Quality control assets before publishing handoff, checking specs and logos.
• Apply AI-assisted post workflows within brand safety and governance standards.
