Job summary

Funko, Inc. is seeking a social-first Social Media Content Creator in Burbank, CA. You will craft platform-native content for TikTok, Instagram, and emerging channels, working with design and marketing teams to bring campaigns to life across social platforms.

Lead video production from concept to execution with quick-turn turnaround, and write compelling copy while staying on-brand. This onsite role reports to the Marketing team and participates in product launches and content campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in social content creation or related field.
• Strong portfolio of short-form content and campaigns.
• Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram trends and formats.
• Experience shooting and editing quick-turn content.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar tools.
• Great writing and storytelling abilities.

We are looking for a social first Social Media Content Creator who understands what makes people stop scrolling. This role will focus on creating platform-native content for TikTok, Instagram, and emerging social channels, with an emphasis on short-form video, product storytelling, trends, and agile content production. Working closely with our graphic designer and broader creative and marketing teams, this person will bring campaigns and products to life across social and digital channels, complementing existing brand creative with content designed specifically for how audiences engage on each platform.

What You’ll Do

• Concept, shoot, and edit social-first content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, and emerging platforms.
• Create short-form video, product-focused content, simple animations, campaign cutdowns, and other platform-native content.
• Translate campaigns, product stories, and brand priorities into engaging social concepts and executions.
• Adapt existing creative into platform-appropriate formats in partnership with the graphic designer and creative team.
• Write concise, engaging copy for social and other digital content.
• Stay current on social trends, formats, cultural moments, and platform best practices.
• Partner across marketing, creative, e-commerce, paid media, and product teams to support launches and ongoing content needs.
• Manage multiple projects while moving quickly and maintaining brand consistency

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in social content creation, digital content, or a related creative field.
• Strong portfolio of social-first and short-form video content. (Please attach/link to application)
• Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and evolving social formats and trends.
• Experience shooting and editing short-form video and creating content quickly from concept through execution.
• Strong visual judgment and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or similar tools.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills.
• Experience with consumer, fashion, lifestyle, entertainment, or e-commerce brands preferred.
• Collaborative, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Information

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $34.62 - $41.54 hourly. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
