$25 to $30 per hour|Roughly 15 to 20 hours a week|Mileage reimbursed
A few days a month on the road, filming our properties and growing our Instagram and Facebook into a channel that actually books stays.
Florida Vacation Collection manages 130+ luxury vacation rentals across Florida's top markets, and almost none of it is on camera yet. The homes are the product: canals, pools, docks, sunsets over Anna Maria, a morning at a St. Pete bungalow before guests check in. Right now that story lives in photos on listing sites. You're going to turn it into video people follow.
This is a part-time, project-based role. Roughly one filming day a month in each of our four markets, plus the edit and posting work that comes off those days. You drive your own car, walk the properties, film yourself and the homes, and turn it into Reels, TikToks, and longer vlog-style pieces.
You will be on camera. Not behind someone else's camera. You.
We're not looking for someone to wait for a brief. We're looking for someone who can walk a property, spot the three shots worth taking, and have a rough cut posted the next day.
About Florida Vacation Collection
Boutique, full-service vacation rental management company. 130+ luxury properties across Florida's top markets. Hands-on service, no call centers, no cutting corners. We're growing fast because we do things differently.
What You’ll Own
- The content pipeline end to end. Ideas, filming, editing, captions, posting. You're not handing footage to an editor and waiting a week.
- Field days. Roughly one a month in each market: St. Pete, Tampa, Anna Maria, and Orlando. Property walkthroughs, arrival-day energy, behind the scenes with our cleaners, maintenance, and guest-facing team, neighborhood and local-guide content.
- You, on camera. You're the recurring face and voice of the account. Talking to camera, hosting walkthroughs, doing the on-location pieces.
- The calendar. A posting rhythm that holds whether or not anyone reminds you. Reels as the core format, longer vlog-style pieces when a story warrants it, statics when a photo beats a video.
- The growth numbers. Follower growth, views, saves, shares, and how much of it turns into profile visits and direct booking enquiries.
- A usable asset library. Everything labeled, backed up, and searchable, so a clip from six months ago can be found and reused instead of refilmed.
What Part-Time Looks Like
- Four content days a month, one per market, scheduled around weather and check-in calendars.
- Each content day produces 4 to 6 pieces: short Reels cut on site, plus longer pieces edited in the days after.
- Roughly 15 to 20 hours a week across filming, editing, captions, and scheduling.
- Your own schedule, as long as the posting rhythm holds and shoot days are booked in advance.
What Success Looks Like
- First 30 days. You've been to every market at least once, you know the top 20 properties by name, and you've posted your first 20 pieces. You've formed a view on which properties shoot well and what our account should sound like.
- First 60 days. You're posting at the agreed rhythm without being chased, your best-performing Reel beat anything the accounts have done before, and at least one piece has produced a direct booking enquiry we can trace.
- First 90 days. The accounts are visibly growing month over month, you've got a repeatable format that works and you can say why it works, and booking enquiries from social are a number we can see in the dashboard rather than a story.
Who You Are
- You're in Florida and you can drive our markets. St. Pete, Tampa, Anna Maria, and Orlando. Reliable car, active insurance, willing to do a long day on the road.
- You want to be on camera. This is the core requirement. You're comfortable being the face of the account, talking to a lens, and putting yourself out there consistently.
- You've done this before. A portfolio of short-form video you filmed and edited yourself. If your best work is reposted footage someone else shot, that's not what we need.
- You shoot on a phone and you're not precious about it. Great lighting, stable hands, clean audio, strong first two seconds. A phone plus good instincts beats a camera you don't know how to use.
- You edit fast. CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, whatever you're fluent in. Rough cut next day is the standard.
- You can find the story in a house. A rental is a rental until someone shows you why this one is worth a five hour drive. You find that angle.
- You're self-managing. Days on the road, no one standing over your shoulder, a posting rhythm that has to hold without supervision. If you need structure imposed on you, this isn't it.
- You like the numbers. Views are nice. Saves, shares, profile visits, and bookings are the point. You look at what performed and change what you do next because of it.
- You write a decent caption. Short, in our voice, not a wall of hashtags.
Bonus Points
- Experience in travel, hospitality, real estate, or vacation rentals.
- Any drone work (FAA Part 107 is a plus, not a requirement).
- You've built an account from small to meaningful before, personally or for a brand, and can talk through what actually moved it.
- Photography skills for stills and listing-gallery work.
- Bilingual English and Spanish.
Compensation
- $25 to $30 per hour, based on experience. Content days are paid hourly, including the edit time that comes off them.
- Roughly 15 to 20 hours a week, with 4 to 6 content days a month.
- Mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate for travel between properties on shoot days.
- Equipment funded by us: gimbal, mic, and lighting kit. You bring a phone you're comfortable filming on.
- Quarterly performance bonus for hitting growth milestones set with you.
- Path to more. If the channel works, there's a retainer, more days, and a conversation about going full-time.
How We’ll Measure You
- Content days delivered and pieces published against the agreed rhythm
- Follower growth on Instagram and Facebook
- Views, saves, and shares, with saves and shares weighted heavier than views
- Profile visits and link-in-bio clicks
- Direct booking enquiries attributable to social
- Content that gets reused in paid ads and on the website, which means it's good enough to spend money behind
- Whether the properties you feature get more direct enquiries in the weeks after
