Job summary

TapBlaze, a Los Angeles-based casual mobile game studio, seeks a social media and community intern to grow engagement and manage our communities. This hands-on role offers real projects from day one, with a path to full-time based on performance.

You’ll learn by doing across platforms, write copy that drives engagement, and help shape our marketing plan. In-office only at Sawtelle, CA, five days a week, with potential conversion to a marketing role after the internship.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Photoshop with ability to edit and recreate assets.
  • Basic knowledge of Premiere Pro or After Effects.
  • Strong grasp of short-form video content for platforms (TikTok, Reels).
  • Ability to write human, on-brand copy that drives engagement.
  • Organized and dependable under tight deadlines; multitask across platforms.
  • Willingness to learn new tools on the job.
  • Bonus: experience in game marketing or community management.
  • Bonus: love for cozy mobile games.

Responsibilities

  • Create social media assets tailored to each platform.
  • Write captions and marketing copy to drive clicks, installs, and engagement.
  • Schedule posts across platforms using Sprout Social or Loomly.
  • Analyze performance and push for improvements across TikTok, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and Discord.
  • Plan and run creative community events for players.
  • Host live streams and be the main contact between communities and the dev team.
  • Develop a data-driven social strategy tailored to each game's community.
  • Surface trends and feedback early to the team.
