Lynch Consultants, LLC seeks a Social Media Communications Specialist to provide timely, strategic communications support to a Military Department. Lead a fast-paced, multi-channel social media program and produce high-impact content weekly.

The role supports the client remotely and in person at the Pentagon as needed, with full-time NCR placement and potential telework. Secret clearance requirements apply, and U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or 4 years of equivalent experience required.
• Active Secret clearance or interim Secret clearance in progress required.
• U.S. citizen required.
• DoD program experience in a headquarters organization preferred.
• 3 years of government communications experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate social media content and communication efforts with command staff and leadership.
• Develop and execute daily and weekly social media and communication strategies.
• Monitor audience engagement, analyze performance, and recommend improvements to the social media plan.
• Research authoritative data sources to identify relevant events, activities, and information for publication.
• Provide communications support to senior government officials, including GS-15 and SES personnel.
• Evaluate communication strategies, ensure accurate, timely, and consistent messaging across multiple platforms.

We are seeking a Social Media Communications Specialist to provide timely, strategic communications support to a Military Department. This fast‑paced headquarters role offers a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic, multi‑channel social media program and produce high‑impact content each week.

Salary: $55,000-$59,000. Commensurate with experience.

Work Location and Schedule

• Full-Time Position in the National Capital Region (NCR), capable of supporting the client remotely and in person at the Pentagon (as needed).

Required Qualifications – Must Have

• MUST have a BA/BS OR 4 years of equivalent experience.
• MUST have an ACTIVE Secret clearance OR an interim Secret clearance in progress.
• MUST be a US citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

• DoD program experience in a headquarters organization.
• 3 years of government communications experience.
