Job summary

The Social Media Administrator will be responsible for creating, scheduling, managing, and optimizing content across multiple dealership social media channels. This role requires someone who is passionate about content creation, comfortable behind the camera, and excited to travel between dealership locations capturing stories that drive engagement and brand awareness.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Social Media Administrator

Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $4,000 - $5,000 per month, depending on experience

Gill Auto Group is a growing automotive organization with dealerships throughout California and Hawaii, including locations in Gilroy, Tracy, Madera, Kerman, Livermore, and Hawaii. We are seeking a creative, energetic, and highly motivated Social Media Administrator to help grow our online presence and showcase our dealerships, employees, customers, community involvement, and vehicle inventory through engaging content.

Position Summary

The Social Media Administrator will be responsible for creating, scheduling, managing, and optimizing content across multiple dealership social media channels. This role requires someone who is passionate about content creation, comfortable behind the camera, and excited to travel between dealership locations capturing stories that drive engagement and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture photo and video content at dealership locations, events, and community activities.
• Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
• Write compelling captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action.
• Schedule and publish content using social media management platforms
• Assist in developing and maintaining monthly content calendars.
• Interview employees, customers, and community partners for social media features and promotional content.
• Promote dealership events, sales, charitable partnerships, and community involvement initiatives.
• Monitor engagement, respond to inquiries as directed, and identify opportunities to increase brand awareness.
• Ensure social media content aligns with company branding standards and marketing objectives.
• Perform additional marketing and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

• Experience creating content for social media platforms.
• Strong photography and videography skills using smartphones and/or DSLR cameras.
• Experience editing content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of current social media trends, including Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Preferred

• Automotive industry experience.
• Experience managing multiple brands or locations.
• Portfolio showcasing content creation, video editing, or social media campaigns.
